Anita Adams:Hey, joyful journey Anita Adams here your host, and today we are going to talk about money and climbing the staircase to your highest most magnificent self. What are your feelings about money? Do you think it's good or inheritance really evil? Do you have guilt around wanting more money feel bad about not making enough of it, or feel guilty about making too much money has a tendency to evoke a lot of different emotions for a lot of people. Some of my beliefs around money in the past include things like money is the root of all evil, desiring money is an ego driven want not a higher self want. Having lots of money will change you in a bad way. I thought I dissolved all of these beliefs around money long ago. And yet the other day, I noticed I was experiencing some fear about how making a lot of money may change me and guilt for wanting to make a lot of it. Let me clarify that at the time of this recording, I'm not making a lot of money. Life is comfortable and rich in so many other ways. I do have a deep desire to make lots of money, though, and to not feel guilty about wanting that. Because these feelings were sitting a bit heavily in my heart. I took this quandary to my automatic writing process with the hope that I would receive some insights from spirit, some really interesting things did emerge. And I feel compelled to share them with you, as I suspect there are others who need to hear the messages received. What I'm about to share is a conversation I had with spirit starting from the part where I express my hopes that the book I'm currently writing will be a huge success. I do want it to be a big success. I tell spirit, it will be spirit replies. I want it to make money, good money. I emphasize as if spirit didn't get my meaning the first time it will. I feel guilty about that one, though I feel it somehow diminishes the work I'm doing. It doesn't. You must let go of that belief. How I ask in desperation, and perhaps with a bit of irritation. Change your mindset. Easier said than done. Practice what you preach. Spirit tells me imagine yourself being that successful author, with those funds flowing to you feel what it feels like. Imagine to what you will do with that money and how it will enable you to take your vision and mission further. There is nothing wrong with wanting money and lots of it. Who is speaking here, I ask as I suspect my ego is now jumping into the conversation. ego wants you to feel bad, feel guilty spirit tells me money is not bad. It is not evil. You must understand this. It's who you choose to be with the money that makes a difference. This is why understanding who you are. Knowing yourself and choosing to be someone you can love. respect and admire gives you the power to be that person and do good in the world with money. You fear money will change you. You can only be changed if you allow yourself to be changed. If you stop doing the inner work. If you stop looking inward and asking, Who am I? What do I want and why does it matter? These questions you must come back to again and again and again. And again. These questions are your shield. They are what will protect you as you step into financial wealth. When you understand who you are. When you understand your values the person you want to be the life you want to live and why it matters. You will always only choose from a place of your highest good and The highest good of all, why should you feel guilty about that? Do you think you will stop doing the work? No, never I respond. Now that I understand that this is something I must keep doing, keep coming back to, yes, good, then you can accept financial wealth without fear. What if I stopped doing the work, then your life will be fine for a time until it's not. And then you'll remember, you'll remember what you've already learned. And you will relearn what you need to do to recreate that life you want. What a waste of time, though yours could easily be lost. If you get lazy and stop doing the work. You are always a work in progress, you never arrive at a final destination, you will always be working towards your highest self, because that is infinite, there is no limit on what you can become. It would take many lifetimes over and you would still not be close. We do not say this to discourage you. This, we hope encourages you, and reveals how much potentials still there and so easily within your grasp. Each new level, like a staircase ascending to heaven takes you closer to enlightenment to your higher self. And each new level reveals something spectacular, you may only see a glimpse of the stair that's just in front of you, maybe even two or three stairs ahead. But as it's a spiraling staircase, you can't see much beyond that. And yet each step takes you higher and higher. Each new step reveals more magnificence about who you are. It's a beautiful journey, one of discovery and creation. So trust that you are someone who will continue to climb those stairs, that you are someone who understands this infinity loop of lessons, the lessons you are here to teach others, to look inward, to listen to inner wisdom, to learn how to follow that guidance, and to allow your love to deepen each step of the way.
